We see more of the world, faster
Lotus Technology Management combines proprietary alternative data, AI-native research, and twenty years of operating experience to invest at the frontier of public markets and early-stage ventures.
Built by builders.
Powered by data.
Invested in the future.
Lotus Technology Management is an investment firm founded by the creators of Sentieo, the AI-driven financial research platform that served 1,000+ institutional clients and was acquired by AlphaSense in 2022.
For two decades, our team has occupied an unusual intersection: building category-defining software businesses while simultaneously running capital across public and private markets. We did not discover AI as an investment thesis. We built it, deployed it, and competed with it. That hands-on fluency informs everything we do today, from how we source ideas to how we construct portfolios.
Our proprietary alternative data engine, Oracle, is the direct descendant of the technology we built at Sentieo. It monitors signals across thousands of companies in near-real-time, surfacing the kind of early, idiosyncratic insight that moves ahead of consensus and ahead of quarterly results.
We call our approach quantamental: the data-processing scale of a quantitative process combined with the contextual judgment of fundamental research. It is disciplined, adaptive, and grounded in the belief that lasting edge comes from seeing the world in granular detail unavailable to most investors.
Our Pillars: Hedge Fund & Venture Capital
Pillar 1: Long-Short Equities
Public Markets. Private Intelligence.
Our hedge fund strategy targets established public companies positioned to benefit from durable macro and sector trends, with a primary focus on consumer and technology. Using Oracle's alternative data signals alongside disciplined fundamental analysis, we build concentrated, high-conviction long-short portfolios that we actively manage through market cycles.
Pillar 2: Venture Capital
Early Capital. Lasting Partnership.
We invest at the pre-seed to Series A stage in founders who are reshaping productivity, health, and consumer experience. Our public-market lens gives us a differentiated vantage point on startup trajectories: we see which macro tailwinds are real, which incumbent weaknesses are structural, and which technologies are moving from hype to adoption.
THE QUANTAMENTAL DIFFERENCE
*
THE QUANTAMENTAL DIFFERENCE *
Data at scale. Judgment at the margin.
-
Oracle, our proprietary alternative data platform, continuously monitors signals across thousands of public and private companies. It models key metrics, including gross profit, in near real-time, transforming raw data into high conviction, low latency insight.
-
We build portfolios with deliberate attention to sector, geography, and factor balance. Every position is sized and structured to reflect conviction while managing concentration - producing returns that are durable across market environments.
-
We continuously refine our process in response to evolving macroeconomic and market dynamics. Where other managers protect legacy frameworks, we treat adaptation as a competitive advantage.
